Biography
Geoffrey is an Emeritus Professor of Materials Science at the University of Bristol and a Visiting Professor at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, University of Bath.
Research Interest
Geoff has held numerous EPSRC grants in the general area of studies at external and internal solid interfaces with a strong background in the use of analytical techniques for microstructural analysis and he is the author of over 350 scientific publications. He has represented Bath and North East Somerset County Council at public inquiries dealing with the environmental behaviour of construction materials. In recent years he has developed a strong reputation in areas of research involving construction materials.
