Biography

I am a registered Social Worker and qualified PEPS current Practice Educator. I completed the MSc in Death and Society here at the University of Bath researching into decision making at the end of life

Research Interest

The majority of my experience in Social Work practice was in Adult Care settings and more latterly specialising in specialist palliative care, including working with the bereaved. I have experience of working independently as a Practice Educator as well as practicing as an on-site educator. My most recent role prior to joining the University of Bath in June 2017 as the Professional Practice Tutor was working for Wiltshire Council as the Organisational Development Consultant for Social Care; overseeing all elements of Practice Education and the ASYE programme across all services. I have supported many newly qualified social workers and social work students in training to experience complex and multidisciplinary areas of social work practice.
