Biography
Dr Wade’s activities currently focus on criminal justice related developments within the EU. The genesis of a European public prosecutor’s office and the concept of European citizenship particularly as it relates to defence rights are focal points. This interest has also lead to work focusing on the crimes of terrorism and trafficking human beings and their prevention, investigation and prosecution at a national, regional and global level. One important component of this work is comparative legal scholarship.
