Paul Fisher

Biography

After graduating as a Geologist, Paul lectured for a decade in the Czech Republic and Russia. On his return to the UK he worked at the Health Protection Agency (now Public Health England) at a regional and national level on climate change, public health, planning and environmental assessment tools. He then completed a four-year training programme as a Specialty Registrar in Public Health leading on a number of public health programmes within the West Midlands. Paul is currently researching the health impacts of climate change, primarily with colleagues in the UK, America and Hong Kong and with a particular focus on the impact of ambient temperature on health inequalities.  After graduating as a Geologist, Paul lectured for a decade in the Czech Republic and Russia.
