Helen Thain

Biography

Helen studied at the University of Buckingham, graduating in December 2013 with First Class Honours in Communication, Media & Journalism. After graduating Helen took a short-term position within the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, before packing her bags for her long awaited gap year. She spent most of her time working her way around Australia, producing several internal and promotional videos for small businesses she worked for. Helen returned to the University in January 2016 as Studio Manager, producing Buckingham News and Bucks 101 Radio for the Journalism department.

Research Interest

The transgressive in 20th-century fiction, Daphne du Maurier, Literature by and reflecting the experience of second-generation British immigrants.
