Biography
nisha graduated from the University of Bradford in 2008 with a Master of Pharmacy degree and upon successful completion of her pre-registration year with Lloyds Pharmacy qualified as a pharmacist in 2009. Since qualifying Anisha has worked in a wide variety of community pharmacy roles including both store based positions and as a locum pharmacist. Anisha joined UCLan in 2014 and works part time as a Teacher Practitioner. She balances her university role with working as a Clinical Practice Pharmacist for Bury GP Federation, part of the NHS England Pilot Scheme. Her job role is varied within her practice and includes offering patient –centered consultations, working within a multidisciplinary general practice team offering medication reviews for patients with multi-morbidities taking multiples medicines, domiciliary visits and conducting audits. Anisha is currently working towards her Non Medical Prescribing qualification specialising in Hypertension and assessing and managing cardiovascular risk. She has also recently been awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
