Chris Wilson

Biography

I am Senior Lead in Learning Enhancement in the Department of Learning Enhancement with strategic responsibility for learning and teaching practice at the University of Derby. Working closely with learning technology colleagues I coordinate the Academic Practice Programme for the University and lead staff development supporting practice change in learning and teaching activity across the institution. I chair the Derby panel for the accredited Higher Education Academy process and support colleagues across the university in the development of claims for professional recognition and also lead on a number of projects working towards development of the student learning experience. Research Interest

My principles area of research interest is creativity in the arts and in education. With a focus on learning and teaching, I also maintain research activity in music composition, electronic music, sound art, sound installation, and theatrical sound design.
