Biography
My areas of expertise are Political Sociology and Quantitative Methods. Students are encouraged to contact me for an appointment to discuss their applied research projects and/or methodological questions.
Research Interest
My interests lie in Comparative Political Behaviour; Public Opinion; Political Attitudes, and Quantitative Methods. In particular, I am interested in the following research areas: Radical Left Parties; Gender differences in political engagement; Generational differences in political behaviour and attitudes; Vote-switching and electoral volatility; Attitudes to the EU; I am currently a co-investigator on the following research projects: "The determinants of radical left parties' electoral support in Western Europe" "A Study of the Persistent Gender Gap in Politics in Spain (GENPOL)" (provisional website: http://www.ipp.csic.es/en/node/287667) "Do traditional 'get out the vote' campaign methods work in Spain? A pilot experiment on non-partisan mobilisation of immigrant and native voters".
