Biography
Dr. Velia Cardin joined the School of Psychology at UEA as a lecturer in 2016. She did a BSc in Biomedical Research at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and a 4-year Wellcome PhD Programme in Neuroscience at UCL. Before joining UEA, she worked as a postdoc at UCL's Deafness, Cognition and Language Research Centre (DCAL), at the Linnaeus Centre HEAD, University of Linköping, Sweden, and at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK.
Research Interest
Her research focuses on deafness and neural plasticity using behavioural, pharmacological and neuroimaging techniques.
