Biography
Steve began his career as a Nursing Assistant for children and adolescents at the age of 19. He spent some time working in the US and returned to do a BSc Psychology at Middlesex University. After that he worked with homeless, older age, forensic, learning disability and psychiatric populations as a care worker and research assistant. He completed a pre-registration MSc in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Essex in 2006. Since then he has worked as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and Quality Accountant at a local NHS Trust before moving into his current full-time educational role. He is now embarking on a PhD in Nursing Studies.

Narrative Theory in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Cognitive and Emotional Intelligence in Higher Education Gene x Environment Interactions and Health Outcomes over the Life Course
