Biography
Dr Julie Langan Martin is a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Psychiatry and Director of the Global Mental Health MSc at the University of Glasgow. Dr Langan Martin's primary interests are in Global Mental Health and the interface between major mental illness (schizophrenia and bipolar disorder) and physical health comorbidity. She is also interested in perinatal mental illness. Background Dr Julie Langan Martin graduated with an MBChB (Honours) in 2007 from the University of Glasgow. She is a member of both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She completed a clinical research training fellowship in Glasgow alongside an Masters in Education (MD, Glasgow 2016 and MEd (Merit) Glasgow, 2016).
Research Interest
Dr Langan Martin's primary interests are in Global Mental Health and the interface between major mental illness (schizophrenia and bipolar disorder) and physical health comorbidity. She is also interested in perinatal mental illness.
