Biography
I joined the university of Huddersfield in 2004. My current position is senior lecturer and my main role is course leader for Physiotherapy. Prior to joining the University, I worked in the National Health Service (NHS) and the private sector as a Physiotherapist. To maintain currency, I have undergone and continue to undergo extensive post graduate training and certification in both Physiotherapy and the fitness industry.
Research Interest
I am currently working towards completing my doctoral studies. The title of my research is, ‘the development of a spinal simulator for teaching manual therapy at the spine’. This has involved a mixed methods approach where I have specified and developed a part task trainer and reviewed its performance with regard to a human spine.
