Biography
Sophie joined the University of in January 2011 as an Accounting Technician within the Bids, Contracts and Compliance team, now (Post Award Team). She currently works on a part time basis, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Sophie supports the School of Music and Humanities on both pre award and post award Research and Enterprise activities. In addition to this Sophie supports the running of the family business, a Huddersfield based Joinery company Smithson and Littlewood Ltd, alongside her husband, holding the position of Finance Manager.
Research Interest
Prior to joining the University, Sophie was employed by the Regional Screen Agency, ‘Screen Yorkshire’, as a Funding and HR Officer. Sophie managed a number of income streams and the distribution of National Lottery funding.
