Research Interest
I have been interested in the role of culture and climate in shaping the evolution of human populations, and have used the tools of population genetics and genomics to study two main geographical areas, sub-Saharan Africa during my PhD (Sapienza University of Rome, Italy; Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain), and Europe during my post-doc in the Department of Genetics here at University of Leicester.
