Biography

I am a registered Clinical and Health Psychologist, practising in the NHS as a consultant (1 wte) in a physical health speciality, in addition to my role as Programme Director for the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Training Course. I am a committee member and former Chair of the DCP Faculty of Clinical Health Psychology. Research Interest

My teaching, research and clinical interests centre on how we adjust to, and manage, chronic health conditions (particularly cardio-pulmonary diseases and diabetes) and how we can enhance patient care, directly with patients, or indirectly through work with staff.
