Biography
MD (NUI), FRCPsych I have worked as an Adult General Psychiatrist since 1977 and I am now working as a clinical specialist in autism in adult general psychiatry. I am presently the lead investigator on the first ever large scale epidemiological survey of autism spectrum disorders in adults, the Chair of the WHO Advisory Committee of SCAN, and lead a programme of observational and experimental research into the prevention of depression in women in the context of childbirth.
