Biography
Dr. Jonathan Barrett has been Lecturer in Computer Science and a Fellow of Wolfson since 2012, and is currently an EPSRC Career Acceleration Fellow. Dr Barrett's research spans mathematics, physics and the philosophy of physics, as well as computer science. He works mainly in the areas of quantum information science and the foundations of quantum theory. He is interested in the use of quantum systems for computation and cryptography, and in the deeper insights that such practical questions can give us into the conceptual problems of quantum theory.
Research Interest
