Biography
Jun Zhao is a full-time PhD student in the School of Computer Science at The University of Manchester, funded by the department. She is a member of the Information Management Group. She received her B.Sc. in Information System from the Dalian Maritime University, P.R.China, with a honourable degree and her M.Sc. in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Manchester. Her PhD research project is related to provenance and annotation, under the supervision of Prof. Carole Goble and Dr Robert Stevens. Now she have moved to the Oxford University to start her postdoc for the Defining Image Access project.
Research Interest
Jun Zhao's current research is about enabling better transparency and control of our personal information amongst digital things. By this, she want to understand how our personal information is being accessed and transmitted between digital devices and organisations behind them.
