Biography
Dr. Alison Fowler is currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Department of Meteorology, University of Reading , United Kingdom. member of the data assimilation research centre, and a member of the National Centre for Earth Observation (NCEO) data assimilation theme. Research Interests interested in all areas of data assimilation in application to the environmental sciences, some particular areas of interest are: o Measures of observation impact and the optimal design of observing networks o Novel data assimilation techniques o Positional/phase errors o Model error in coupled systems o Correlated observation errors
