Biography
Dr. Damian Fitzpatrick is currently working as a Teaching Fellow In English Language/Tesol in the Department of English Literature, University of Reading , United Kingdom. Responsibilities Damian teaches the following modules: LS1TAL Techniques and Skills for Applied Linguistics LS2EG English Grammar Areas of Interest Damian is interested in the areas of academic literacies, language policy, language teacher education and the role that teachers' beliefs have on their teaching practices. He was recently involved in an inter-institutional project in Hong Kong that looked at how English was used across the curriculum (EAC). Before working at the University of Reading he worked as an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) lecturer in Hong Kong and as an EAP tutor at the Language Centre at King's College London, while he has also taught English at universities in Japan. Qualifications: EdD in TESOL (The University of Exeter); MA in TEFL/TESOL (The University of Birmingham); BA (Hons) in Spanish/French (Trinity College Dublin, Ireland)
Research Interest
