Biography
Dr. Mark Shanahan is currently working as a Lecturer in Politics and International Relations in the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Reading , United Kingdom. Responsibilities: Convenor of PO3UKP - UK Politics; PO3PAR & PIM84 - Parliamentary Studies; Co-convenor PO3TMP - Media & Politics, including The Politics Show on Junction 11 Radio. DTL, responsible for Politics and International Relations provision of teaching and student learning practice. Areas of Interest: New developments in T&L pedagogy, especially the use of social media; US government and the celebritisation of American political culture from Eisenhower to Trump (and beyond); the role of Parliament in UK government.
