Biography
I joined the University of Salford in January 2010, having previously worked as a Lecturer in Innovation and Sustainability at Brunel University, a Research Fellow at UMIST and the University of Manchester, and as Manager of the Economic and Social Research Council’s Sustainable Technologies Programme. I am currently Programme Leader for the MSc Management.
Research Interest
My research interests are: i) historical socio-technical transitions ii) the multi-level perspective of transitions theory iii) system innovation for sustainable production and consumption iv) business in China. I am interested in considering PhD proposals for qualitative research in one of 2 specific areas: i) sociotechnical transitions for sustainability in China or Thailand ii) international business in China or Thailand.
