Biography
Neal has recently returned from a period as Her Majesty's Deputy Chief Inspector at HM Inspectorate of Probation for England and Wales. Neal was responsible for strategy, knowledge and dissemination at the Inspectorate, and designed a new impact-focused method of inspecting criminal justice agencies. Research Interest
His specialist areas are youth justice (particularly custody and reentry), parenting, disengaged young people and community-police relations.
