Biography
I have a clinical back ground in Trauma and Accident and Emergency care. Previous posts include that of Senior Sister in Accident and Emergency and Clinical Nurse manager for Accident and Emergency/Nurse Led Minor Injury Service and Theatres in North West National Health Service Hospitals. Whilst working in practice I have played a part in developing patient focused services, such as nurse led minor injury services and flexible operation day surgery services. My role as clinical nurse manager included staff development of an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality coordinated services. This teaching and development of others led me to my current role within the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Care at the University of Salford.
