Biography
Dr Y P Xiong is Associate Professor within Engineering and the Environment at the University of Southampton. Yeping XIONG is currently an Associate Professor in the Fluid Structure Interactions Research Group within the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment of the university and Director for Faculty Joint Programme with China. Previously she was Director of Maritime MSc Programme for 6 years. Prior to join the University of Southampton in 2001, she was Full Professor since 1996 in the Institute of Engineering Mechanics, Shandong University, China. She has been an elected member of EPSRC Peer Review College since 2003, International Committee Member of ISSC (International Ship & Offshore Structures Congress) since 2009, member of ASME, member of International Institution of Acoustics & Vibration, and invited reviewer for many international journals. She has published over 160 papers in refereed Journals and Conference Proceedings.
