Biography
Since coming to St Andrews in 2012 he has supervised a dozen MLitt dissertations and acted as examiner on two PhDs, one at St Andrews and one at the University of Exeter.
Research Interest
German literature of the ‘long’ nineteenth century, that is, the period stretching roughly from 1789 to 1918
