Biography
Jonathan began his freelance solo career in 1992 and has taken principal roles for Royal Opera, Welsh Opera and Scottish Opera amongst others. At the University of St Andrews he leads and co-ordinates the Music Centre’s provision of vocal teaching. He also acts as Dramaturg and Voice/Drama Consultant for the University’s opera company Byre Opera for whom many of his students are regularly cast in main roles. Jonathan continues to teach some 20 pupils of all voice types through the Music Centre.
