Biography
Christian Twigg-Flesner has been Professor of International Commercial Law at Warwick since September 2017. He read law at the University of Sheffield (LLB in 1997 and PhD in 2002). He started my academic career at Nottingham Trent University (1999-2002) before returning to Sheffield as Lecturer (2002-4). He joined the University of Hull in 2004 as Lecturer and was successively promoted to Senior Lecturer (2005), Reader (2008), and became Professor of Commercial Law there in 2010. He is also currently a Senior International Fellow at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) [2016-18], and an Associate Academic Fellow of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. He is one of the Law editors for the Journal of Consumer Policy.
Research Interest
Research interests lie broadly in the fields of Consumer Law, Commercial Law, Contract Law, and Transnational Commercial law.
