Biography
Tony Elger is an Emeritus Professor in the Sociology Department at the University of Warwick, and a member of the CREW (Connecting Research on Employment and Work) network. He now lives in Scotland but retains links with the Department, having been a staff member from 1973 to 2009. His teaching and research interests throughout his career have focused on political economy, the sociology of work and employment, and associated theoretical and methodological debates.
