Biography
BA in History and Sociology, PhD in Transport and Health, Worked in environmental movement, voluntary sector, and consultancy, Previously researcher at School of Health Open University and Transport Studies Group at University of Westminster. Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health through Distinction. Part time funding from Public Health at Bristol City Council with embedded post in City Transport (2008-). Health impacts of road transport, active travel and health, translational research, built environment and health and wellbeing. Focus on epistemology and meaning of evidence and knowledge.
