Biography
Duncan McPhee is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at the University of the West of England and was appointed to the role following positions at the University of Glamorgan and the Home Office. Duncan's research interests are primarily focused around sexual violence. He is currently engaged in two externally funded projects; An evaluation of specialist investigative reponses to rape and attempted rape cases in work that is funded by the British Academy/Leverhulme, and an ESRC funded project on Gender Based Violence alongside researchers from Bristol and Cardiff University. Duncan also retains an active interest in comparative and transnational criminology and terrorism and leads third year modules on both at UWE.
