Biography
I am currently programme manager for the MSc Advanced Forensic Analysis as well as teaching on a number of undergraduate modules including Scientific Investigation of Crime, Forensic Evidence, Research Skills, Applied Genetics, Interpretation of Forensic Evidence and Neuropharmacology. I offer undergraduate and postgraduate projects in the field of forensic biology, fibre analysis and Low-template DNA. I was previously employed by the Forensic Science Service as a research assistant and helped in the validation of the automation line for the National DNA Database..
Research Interest
My main area of expertise is in forensic DNA profiling, I also have interests in body fluid analysis and crime scene investigation. Forensic DNA -Low template DNA contamination. Tracing ancestry using Y-Chromosome.
