Biography
I am a LSE and SOAS trained political economist specialising in development economics (Sub-Saharan Africa). I teach applied microeconomics with a focus on policy and industry studies. I am acting programme coordinator for the brand new MSc Global Political Economy course starting in September 2017 at UWE. Apply and see more information . Research and teaching on industrialisation, industrial policy, sector studies (textiles and clothing, soy, essential oils, waste recycling), labour casualisation and fragmentation, minimum wages.
