Biography
After working in IT and the construction industry for 10 years, I pursued degrees at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, including an MBA from the Business School and a PhD in project management from the Built Environment School. I joined the Business and Management department in 2012 after working four years at Robert Gorden University in Scotland. I am a Fellow of APM (Association for Project Management) with both APMP and PQ qualifications from APM. I supervise Masters and PhD students' research relating to SMEs, Project Management, Knowledge Management and Information ​Systems, Cross Culture Management, Supply Chain Management etc. The current research project I am working on is Deconstruction and Recovery Information Modelling (DRIM) funded by EPSRC/Innovate UK, (£800,000; 1/May/2016---30/Apr/2018).
Research Interest
Inter and intra organisational management, coordination in project environment. Knowledge management and knowledge integration, knowledge transfer and the implications in human resource management. Collaborative working and competitive working, strategic partnering.
