Biography
Dr Michael Holdsworth originally studied theology at Oxford University. After completing the CPE and LPC at Birmingham University, I qualified as a corporate lawyer with Burges Salmon where I worked on AIM flotations, private acquisitions and the regulation of investment funds. From 2005, I taught Business Law and Equity Finance at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice and then at Oxford Brookes University where I led the LL.M in Legal Practice. My research area is law and religion and at Oxford Brookes I investigated the viability of faith based supplementary jurisdictions in England and Wales.
