Biography
Chris joined the University in September 2009 as Winchester's first lecturer in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics. Chris graduated in 2007 from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc (Hons) in aquatic sports science which was followed by a year in the field gaining experience applying the knowledge he had gained in an academic and commercial setting. In 2009 Chris followed up his qualifications with an MSc in Sports and Exercise Biomechanics from the University of Chichester having completed an in depth study into the effect of supportive insoles on foot function during cycling.
Research Interest
His research interests are Movement variability, Validation of modern ergometry equipment, Assistive devices in a sporting context and The reduction of injury rates in cycling.
