Biography
Dr Andy Cramp is currently Head of Doctoral Studies for the Faculty of Education Health and Well Being at the University of Wolverhampton. He has worked in a range of education settings across sectors, starting his teaching career as a lecturer at Loughborough University whilst working on a PhD. After having trained as a secondary school teacher he taught English in Tanzania and later in Brixton and Hackney colleges. After 15 years in further education he moved back into the university sector. Andy has a life-long commitment to informal learning and is passionate about encouraging learning at every opportunity. His research interests are in education for social justice with a particular interest in qualitative methodologies. Andy is especially in the exploration of digital learning and emotional reactions to learning and leadership.
