John Owen

Biography

I am Pathway Leader for the Secondary Computer Science PGCE and Schools Direct initial teacher training courses.  Former roles include: lead tutor for Teach First Computer Science/ICT for the West Midlands, Head of ICT and Business Studies/Economics with oversight of all IT within a large secondary school, Pastoral roles within secondary school.  I have also held roles as a National Strategies Consultant and ICT Advisor for a local authority leading a team of primary and secondary consultants.  I chaired the WMNet teaching and Learning Group, e-Safety Group and sat on the WMNet Management Board.
