Biography
Josiane is a Senior Lecturer in English Language based at Wolverhampton City Campus. She teaches a range of English language modules for students of English and English Language. She also works as a Senior Academic Counsellor, Study Skills advisor and Faculty Enabling Tutor for the School of Humanities. Her research interests relate primarily to the study of language and humour: in particular Discourse Analysis and Conversation Analysis, Pragmatics and Gender Differences.
