Biography
My main role is that of a Lecturer in Sports Coaching and Performance at University of Wolverhampton. Here, I am module leader for Analysis of Sport Performance (L5), Performance Analysis and Football Coaching (L5), Football Coaching with Diverse Populations (L6) and Advanced Football Coaching (L6). My teaching status if that of an Associate Fellow of The Higher Education Academy. I am research active and a current Sports Coaching Doctoral student at Cardiff Metropolitan University. My thesis is due for completion in 2017 entitled “Exploring The Reality of Student-Coaches’ Work-Based Learning”. The focus of my research interests relates to sociological issues within sport coaching, most notably that of student-coaches. I am also interested in coach education provision within football and using a range of qualitative research methods as ways of better understanding sports coaching and performance.
