Biography
Over the last 40 years I have been involved with mathematics education as a teacher, local authority adviser and more recently as the lead for PGCE secondary mathematics teacher training. I have taught mathematics at all levels including undergraduate. I have delivered significant amounts of secondary school INSET at mathematics departmental level, senior leader level and whole school. Currently I am researching the effects of lesson design in relation to teaching fractions.
