Biography
Stephen is a Senior Lecturer in Religious Studies based at Wolverhampton City Campus. He is an elected member of the Executive Committee of the British Association for the Study of Religions (www.basr.ac.uk) and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society in 2007. His research interests relate primarily to religion in contemporary society and method and theory in the Study of Religion, particularly lived/vernacular religion. He has presented research at universities in the USA, Australia, India, Turkey and across the UK.
