Biography
Whyeda worked as a trainee lawyer in the European Commission after completing her LLB at Cambridge. She completed her PhD at Keele University in 2001 examining the impact of marketisation on local government industrial relations. She has taught at the universities of Keele, Sheffield Hallam, Manchester Metropolitan and Derby. She joined the University of Wolverhampton in 2012. She has taught across a range of subjects including her specialist fields of Public Sector Employment Relations and Employment Relations and Law. She has published in the field of public sector industrial relations, political economy, labour history, comparative IR and HRM.
