Biography
Yve Houghton has a B.A. (Hons) in Carpet Design and related Textiles and an M.A. in Fashion/Textiles and gained her PGCE in 2004. She has worked extensively in the design industry as a Design Manager and Head of Design, and has been running her own textile design consultancy for many years. Numerous blue-chip companies have commissioned her work including:- Hilton Group, BT, Barclays Bank, Sheraton Hotels, Akzo Nobel, Renault, Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Dorchester Hotel, Skoda, International Wool Secretariat, Japanese Embassy (London), United Distillers, Peel Holdings (Trafford Centre) and Tate & Lyle to name a few and is a flooring consultant for Toyota.
