Biography
Ruth worked in schools and colleges from 1982-1998 and then in a variety of Universities, teaching and leading courses and departments. She has taught all ages from Year One to Masters Level and continues to be passionate about education for all. Since completing her MA (Ed) in 2000, Ruth has worked in a number of teaching roles and has extensive experience of and expertise in Modern Foreign Languages Pedagogy. Her MA research included three main areas; Mentoring, Educational management and Educational Guidance and Counselling.
Research Interest
Ruth is now interested in researching the impact of teaching children languages in the Primary sector and subsequent transition to KS3.
