Biography
Michael studied the sociology and psychology of work on the Human Organisations course at Northumbria University, followed by an MSc in European Industrial Relations. Michael also has a PGCE from the Open University
Research Interest
Michael’s research interests centre on industrial relations in particular trade unions and specifically how trade unions work with legislation. Currently, this research focuses on the increasing levels of individual legislative statutes which have been introduced in recent years and how trade unions are adapting to working with them.
