Biography
He/she holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, with a minor in dance, from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed her residency training in radiology at Boston University School of Medicine. She then received advanced training in abdominal imaging through a fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a fellowship in clinical effectiveness at Harvard School of Public Health. Before joining the faculty at UT Southwestern in 2015, Dr. Fielding served as a Clinical Professor of Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and as a Professor of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also served as Director of the Abdominal Imaging Fellowship program. He/her focuses her research on computed tomography’s effects on therapeutic outcomes and survival in renal cell carcinoma. Her investigation has resulted in more than 80 papers, eight book chapters, and two books.
