Biography
Ben Freer is Head of Technical Services and Regional Agronomist for the South Region of NIAB TAG. A graduate of Bangor University, Ben cut his teeth in a mixed farming environment in Northants and Dorset before joining ADAS in 1982 specialising in arable crop research in Herefordshire and Hampshire.
Research Interest
In 1994 he moved to Suffolk and Norfolk when working for Morley Research Centre. In 2005, following the merger with Arable Research Centres to form TAG, he moved back to Hampshire. With the formation of NIAB TAG he took up his current post.
