Biography
James Clarke is the Science and Business Development Manager for soils, crops and water at ADAS; Chairman of the Pesticides Forum; Member of the British Crop Production Council (BCPC) Science Strategy Group; Chairman of the Weed Resistance Action Group; Member of RSPB Lowland Farm Project Advisory Group and formerly an Independent Member of the Advisory Committee on Pesticides (ACP).
Research Interest
With a BSc (hons) in Agriculture and an expert in policy and research issues concerning the impact of crop management on the environment and consumers, James focuses particularly on arable crop production especially sustainable agriculture integrated farming and impacts of arable farming on the environment. He is also a frequent public speaker and has written for leading publications and the farming press, including Farmers Weekly.
