Jonathan Blake

Biography

Jonathan is a Senior Research Scientist for ADAS. He is BASIS and FACTS qualified and has a wide ranging knowledge of the arable sector, following extensive practical and research experience working with cereals and oilseeds. He has a good understanding of crop physiology and pathology, and has managed Defra, HGCA and commercially funded research in both disciplines. He currently leads the communication of cereal pathology information for ADAS.

Research Interest

He has previously also led an HGCA literature review on cereal establishment and prediction, and was directly involved in the production of the HGCA barley growth guide, as well as the barley and wheat disease management guides.
